“Chilling” is not enough to refer to the upcoming horror film Quiet Comes the Dawn (Rassvet, its international title). The launch of the trailer full of special effects that will make you jump from your seat does not allow exaggeration.
Directed by Russian filmmaker Pavel Sidorov and played by Aleksandra Drozdova, the trailer allows us to immerse ourselves in the life of Svetlana, a young woman whose life takes a turn when her brother dies in a mysterious way and she begins to have nightmares that seem real.
Lucid dreams
Overwhelmed by these vivid dreams, she decides to undergo a therapy offered by a strange institute. The team of experts induces the patients to have "lucid dreams" that promise to achieve a kind of cure.
But the situation only gets worse when this collective dream far from taking them to the wonderful place it promised subdues people to a nightmare much worse than any experienced before.
The protagonists' challenge will be to be safe again and defeat their own demons. Because closing your eyes and relaxing does not seem to have been a great idea after all.
