Horror for the weekend: Orphan: First Kill

Enjoy this spooky film on your days off

The weekend has arrived and you don't know what movie to watch? Diamond to the rescue! Today or tomorrow night, get your popcorn ready, put on your pajamas and enjoy the prequel to Orphan at home.

Orphan: First Kill is about the dark past of Esther, an adult killer who looks like a child due to a medical condition called hypopituitarism. She escapes from a psychiatric clinic in Estonia and arrives in the United States to torment a family in Connecticut.

This film brought great innovations in the world of visual effects and makeup. Isabelle Fuhrman, the actress who played the main character in the first film, is now twenty-five years old but still wears an angelic face. She returned to reprise her role as the terrifying young woman through prosthetics, make-up and camera and lighting effects to create an illusion of youth. The film features a great cast, including Julia Stiles (Hustlers), Rossif Sutherland, and Hiro Kanagawa.

Orphan: First Kill was Top 1 in Mexico, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Colombia, and Bolivia. In Brazil, 1.5 million people enjoyed it. The film amazed audiences and filled all the theaters in Latin America. Are you ready to see it at home?
