Joe Jonas returns to acting

The singer is now on the big screen

Joe Jonas is a complete artist, he is a singer, musician, actor, and dancer. He shares a band with his brothers Kevin and Nick known as The Jonas Brothers and he is also the lead singer of the musical group DNCE. His talent as a performer began with the films Camp Rock and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam. Later, he starred in the Jonas series and, once it ended, Joe immersed himself in music.

After several years of touring with his bands, Joe Jonas is finally encouraged to return to the acting world with Devotion. The film is set in 1950 when the Cold War threatens international peace, and two young pilots from different worlds - Tom Hudner and Jesse Brown, are accepted into an elite squadron for training. Both will be pushed to the limit to become the best fighter pilots and they will form a beautiful friendship along the way.

Joe returns to the big screen in the role of Marty Goode, a very funny person who likes to make other people smile, even in the most uncomfortable circumstances. He's a loving young man, but he's also been in the Navy since he was sixteen, so he is more experienced than others. To connect with his character, Joe Jonas recalled his grandfather, who was in the military and told him countless stories about that period.

Devotion tells several true stories that few people know about. It is set in a very particular context, the Korean War, and narrates the adventures of Jesse, the first African-American to fly in combat for the U.S. Navy.
