Who is Karla Souza?

Let's get to know this talented actress better

Karla Souza is a Mexican film, theater, and television actress who participated for the first time in a movie when she was seven. Since that experience, she had an interest in acting and dedicated her whole life to learning its magic.

After studying at the University of London, Karla obtained a scholarship to one of the best acting schools, the Moscow Arts Theatre in Russia. Later on, she had some leading roles in Mexican films and participated in several Hollywood movies. In 2013, she achieved her third starring role in the film Me Late Chocolate alongside Osvaldo Benavides. That same year Nosotros los Nobles hit theaters in Latin America and became the second highest-grossing film in the history of Mexico.

She earned international recognition with How to get away with murder, where she plays a law student, Laurel Castillo. Since then, she has been in countless projects, among them the romantic comedy Don't Blame The Kid. The film follows Maru, a 26-year-old charismatic executive with a strong character and a great sense of humor, and Renato (Ricardo Abarca), a 21-year-old young man who neither studies nor works and lives with his mother. Even though they have nothing in common, they meet at a wedding and some weeks later, they must face an "unexpected" situation. The two will have to agree to solve the outcome of the fun night they spent together.
