2022 will be filled with new options for moviegoers: a Lady Di’s biopic, international spies, a trip to the Moon, and a lot more! Let’s take a look at the releases coming this year:
Spencer, directed by Pablo Larraín, revolves around the last days of Lady Di at Sandringham Castle before putting an end to her marriage with Prince Charles. Starring Kristen Stewart (Still Alice, Lizzie), the film will hit theaters in January in Latin America.
The 355 features Jessica Chastain (Molly’s Game), Diane Kruger, Lupita Nyong'o, Penelope Cruz and Bingbing Fan to tell the story of different spies from multiple parts of the world that join forces to prevent a top secret weapon from falling in the hands of a mercenary group. The action, espionage and female empowerment film will hit the big screen in January in Latin America.
Moonfall, the film inspired by a conspiracy theory delves into a possible catastrophe: the moon is knocked out of its orbit and will impact planet Earth. Joe Fowler, Brian Harper and KC Houseman –believers in the mysteries of the satellite- must embark on a journey to save humanity. It is expected to hit theaters in Latin America in February 2022.
But that’s not all! C'mon C'mon will also be released this year. Starring Joaquin Phoenix (Don’t worry, he won’t get far on foot), the film is about a radio journalist that must take care of his nephew. Some other amazing titles that will be released in Latin America are Guy Ritchie’s action film: Operation Fortune, the prequel of Orphan and I’m your man.
