Isabelle Fuhrman was born in Washington D.C., United States, on February 25, 1997, and she grew up in Atlanta, Georgia. She began her career at the age of 7 when a Cartoon Network producer discovered her and she got her participation in Cartoon Fridays. She also made several commercials for companies like Pizza Hut. In 2006, she participated in some TV series and she debuted in the drama movie Hounddog playing Grasshopper in 2007.
It was not until 2009 that she rose to worldwide fame with her role as Esther in The Orphan, a film in which she starred alongside Vera Farmiga (Captive State). We also saw her in 2012 embodying Clove, the girl who offers herself as a tribute from district two in The Hunger Games. In 2015, she launched her new cosmetics line Fetch, Please in collaboration with ColourPop.
In 2022, we will see her shine on the big screen with the most anticipated horror movie of the year, Orphan: First Kill, where she will once again play Esther. This prequel directed by William Brent Bell (The Boy, Brahms: The Boy II) tells the story of this "little girl" when she first arrives in the United States and meets the mother of her adoptive family, played by Julia Stiles (Hustlers). It will undoubtedly be one of those films that will captivate us from beginning to end and will leave our hair standing on end.
