The most awaited titles for 2021

Let's make a toast!

We have finally reached the last day of the year and we want to close it leaving behind the difficult times we have gone through in these last months and welcome with much optimism the 2021 that opens its doors to us.

And talking about opening doors, we have seen with great happiness that many markets in Latin America have been gradually reactivating, theaters have reopened and we could start enjoying new adventures on the big screen.

Here is a preview of some of the most anticipated titles for the new year, which we hope to share with all of you:

Songbird, starring KJ Apa and Sofia Carson will take us to the year 2024 when covid has mutated and the U.S. government locks up the entire population. In that context, a young couple -who have never had contact- share virtually many moments together and fall in love. He is free as he is immune to the disease, whereas she must remain locked up in her home. Will there be hope for this love in this harsh reality?

If we talk about a little bit more artistic films, we find Minari and The United States vs. Billie Holiday. Both films promise to give plenty to talk about for the Oscar and Golden Globe award season. In the first case, the story is directed by Lee Isaac Chung and revolves around a Korean family that migrates to the United States in search of the famous "American dream". In the second film we will relive part of the life of the famous jazz singer Billie Holiday, performed by the charismatic singer Andra Day. So moving!

Back to the world of thrillers, we have Gunpowder Milkshake starring Karen Gillan, Carla Cugino, Lena Headey, Michelle Yeoh, Angela Bassett alongside a great cast where empowered women must work as a team to face a dangerous criminal organization by rebelling against those who have taken away their most precious treasure.

And we didn’t forget horror fans as the beloved, demonic Esther (Isabelle Furhman) returns in the sequel Orphan: First Kill, which stars Julia Stiles (Hustlers), a film that promises to scare the hell out of us!

And for the fearless, here comes Dog, where we will have the pleasure of seeing Channing Tatum playing Briggs, a former army ranger who ventures across the country with Lulu, his military dog. They will travel along the Pacific coast in the hope of arriving on time for a soldier's funeral. But the road will not be smooth as they will have to cross several obstacles and never give up. Will they be able to make it?
