Orphan: First Kill

The most feared "girl" returns

For those who love scary movies, the long-awaited prequel to the first blockbuster film Orphan, which raised more than 41 million dollars in the United States and 78 million dollars worldwide, will arrive in 2021. In that first installment, we witnessed the story of a couple - played by Peter Sarsgaard and Vera Farmiga (Captivate State) - who, after losing their son, adopt Esther - (Isabelle Fuhrman). From that moment on, very strange things begin to happen in the family as this innocent girl is not who she appears to be.

Now, the director will be William Brent Bell - recognized, among other films, for The Boy - and we will also have the presence of our beloved Isabelle Fuhrman (The Hunger Games) portraying the iconic character of Esther. Julia Stiles (Hustlers, Silver Linings) will also join the cast.

What is this installment about? We'll see first-hand what was the plan of Leena Klammer - her real name before she became Esther Coleman - to escape from the psychiatric hospital in Estonia and travel to the United States, before meeting the family that would later adopt her. The film's producers said that they had to use a combination of makeup and filming techniques to manipulate human vision in relation to the proportion and size of objects, as well as their correlation to portray the character once again. Therefore, we will have a new date with -for many fans- the favorite sociopathic killer.
