Salma Hayek’s overwhelming force

After a long journey, she will be one of the protagonists of The Roads Not Taken

The name Salma is the Arabic word for "peace" or "calm". Of course, it doesn't define the life of the Mexican actress with Lebanese roots Salma Hayek, whose presence in any film is enough reason to watch it.

When she was very young, Hayek succeeded in her country's soap operas, but she decided to leave everything behind and start over in the United States.

An overwhelming force that led her not only to achieve world fame in the second half of the 1990s, but that made her become the most acclaimed, best paid Mexican actress in Hollywood.

The 53-year-old Oscar-nominated actress married French fashion mogul François-Henri Pinault, with whom she had Valentina, considered one of the six richest children in the world.

Is she tired of success? Of course not! The talent of this actress will once again be displayed alongside another big name in the industry, Javier Bardem.

The possible paths of life

Hayek will portray the Spanish’s ex-wife in the film The Roads Not Taken, where they will play unmissable scenes in Mexico.

Bardem's character suffers from dementia and Hayek will represent in his mind one of the love paths he could have taken, but left behind.

We can't wait to watch it!
