The history of cinema has literary adaptations that were true milestones. Although, of course, it is often a double-edged sword because turning a novel into a film does not guarantee success and poses a threat between fidelity and excessive interpretation.
Diamond Films has several literary adaptations that overcame that tension and were praised by the critics. This was the case with Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark, which adapts the famous stories by Alvin Schwartz making us live a terrifying experience.
Another example is "Juliet, naked", the same name as the book on which the story is inspired, a novel written by cult author Nick Horby that was masterfully taken to the big screen.
What's coming
But the list does not stop there. This year is the release of After We Collided, a film based on the second book of the successful romantic saga by Anna Todd.
This is certainly the most anticipated film adaptation because of the large worldwide number of fans of the romance between Tessa and Hardin.
