Excellent reviews of Teen Spirit!

The first film by Max Minghella captivates the specialized film critics

The life of Violet (Elle Fanning)- a young Ukrainian girl living on an island in the south of the United Kingdom- changes when she is given the opportunity to participate in a talent competition where she can prove she can become a pop star.

The best virtue of the film Teen Spirit by first time director Max Minghella is the pop aesthetic and the musical elements that build a catchy plot for the audience.

The first reviews of the specialized critics account for this. Andrew Kendall from the Stabroek News says The charm of “Teen Spirit” is how unabashedly itself it is. There’s nothing coy or disingenuous about it, and it’s well tuned to reflect the sensibilities of its prickly heroine.”

Randy Myers (San Jose Mercury News) adds: cranks up the energy and flashy style for a directorial debut that makes you want to both cheer and dance.”

Richard Roeper (Chicago Sun-Times) highlights the work of the protagonist: Fanning does her own vocals (…) she’s quite good- definitely good enough to make us believe her as a bona fide contender on a show such as “Teen Spirit.”

As days go by, the expectation for this great Diamond Film release keeps growing!
