A promising alien movie

The new film by British Rupert Wyatt, director of Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Captive State is a promising movie. In addition to a superb cast led by Vera Farmiga, John Goodman and Ashton Sanders, the fact that Rupert Wyatt is the director represents an additional attraction.

It is enough to watch the official trailer about this superproduction that deals with the consequences of an alien invasion to verify that the director of Rise of the Planet of the Apes returns big to science fiction.

Written by Wyatt and his wife and screenwriter, Erica Beeney, the film places us in a Chicago neighborhood, a decade after an alien occupation.

 Both sides of the conflict

In a story where people must choose a side, the rift is soon divided between those who collaborate with the new regime and those who resist.

Among the detractors, a group of brave people will stand out and will be responsible for priming the pump of a true revolution that will seek to restore the lost sovereignty at the hands of the aliens.

Wyatt returns in his best version to offer us this remarkable dystopian future film where humans will have to join once again to recover what was lost.
