Vadhir Derbez talks about his new role on The Seventh Day

He will play a young priest who must learn to exorcise

Mexican influencer Vadhir Derbez is very excited about his next work. And he has many reasons.

His participation in the horror film The Seventh Day is not only his first time in Hollywood, but also allows him to play a character totally different from the ones we are used to.

Far from the seductive Casanova, this new facet will find him as a priest and next to the prestigious Australian actor Guy Pearce.

Father Daniel

“I am a priest who wants to be an exorcist and joins an exorcist legend, Father Peter (Pearce). He trains him to become the exorcist who leads and fights against the evils of the world... my character is awesome... ", said Derbez.

This young Mexican actor and singer follows in the footsteps of his father, comedian Eugenio Derbez, who has also gradually became known in Hollywood.

“It is very difficult to get roles, especially when you are starting. Many people would say: “Oh, but your dad has projects there. ' No, he is also starting. It has nothing to do with what I do”, he assured when they questioned him about his jump to the mecca of cinema.

Good luck in this new phase!
