Vera Farmiga: a lifetime at cinema

The actress will be part of the cast of Captive State

Vera Farmiga is one of the best-known faces in the film industry. Born in New Jersey, she is an actress, producer, director and dancer.  

 She did not speak English until she was six years old and received a strict education in a Ukrainian Catholic home. In her childhood she studied piano and dance, and during her adolescence she toured with a company of Ukrainian folk dances.  

 In 2009 she received several nominations for her performance in the film Up in the Air, including the Oscar nomination and a Golden Globe. And between 2013 and 2017 she was the protagonist of Bates Motel, the psychological horror television series dramatic.  

 Captive State: there is always a way out  

 Farmiga returns to the big screen in Captive State, the film by Rupert Wyatt (recognized for his work in Rise of the Planet of the Apes), where humanity is under the total control of an alien force.  

 Faced with this scenario, human beings will take two stands: remain allies to the invaders or start a rebellion to recover freedom.
