Lizzie (2018), the film on "the ax killer"

The film in which Kristen Stewart and Chlöe Sevigny are lovers and killers

Lizzie Andrew Borden or also known as "the ax killer" already has her own movie. And she deserved it. After all, she is the main character of a well- known case in the US and the mystery of the criminology world.

The enigmatic young woman was the only suspect of the murders of her father and stepmother, in their home, on August 4, 1892. And yet, she was acquitted.

Andrew Borden received eleven axes in the face and skull, while his wife received nineteen in the back.

The film Lizzie stars Chlöe Sevigny, who plays the role of the alleged murderess, and Kristen Stewart, who plays Bridget Sullivan, the maid of the house at that time.

Directed by Craig William Macneill, the film has the theory that both women were lovers and conspired to end the lives of the abusive and repressive owners of the house.

Already in the trailer of the film, you can watch how they were both victims of the physical and sexual abuses of Andrew and it offers clues on how they conceived the supposed murders.
