Willem Dafoe embodies Vincent van Gogh

Another amazing interpretation by a unique actor

The critics already stated that At Eternity’s Gate is one of the best roles by Willem Dafoe since The Last Temptation of Christ in 1988.

In this American actor’s long history, there can be a variety and quantity of titles in all existing genres. No one doubts that Dafoe is a legend within the industry.

To love and Die in L.A. (1985), Born on the Fourth of July (1989) and The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), are some of the hundreds of titles that had his talent.

Dafoe was also known for combining his work with large studios, but also to venture into small films that were artistically interesting for him.

This is the case of The Florida Project, by director Sean Baker, who this year had him in the leading role in a story that showed the hidden side of people living far away from the big amusement parks.
