Julianne Moore was born on 3 December, 1960 in North Carolina. The daughter of a military judge and a psychologist and social worker, Julianne spent her childhood in different parts of the United States and attended more than nine different schools. She was alwaysinterested in the artistic world, so she graduated from Boston University with a degree in Fine Arts. She later moved to New York where she worked as a waitress until she got the opportunity to pursue acting.
What were her beginnings like? She started in various projects such as The Hand That Rocks the Cradle, Body of Evidence, and The Fugitive. However, she achieved success with the release of the romantic comedy Nine Months alongside Hugh Grant (The Rewrite; Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre). Since then, she has continued to excel in her profession, starring in several films and receiving nominations for various awards, including Best Supporting Actress for her role in Boogie Woogie.
