Max Minghella, the actor will debut as a director with Teen Spirit

The young British actor is now following in his father's footsteps

With that interesting and seductive look that seems to have by chance, English actor Max Minghella is about to give an important turn to his career.

At the age of 32, Minghella is preparing his directorial debut with Teen Spirit, a film whose main character is a girl from Eastern Europe who dreams of becoming a music star.

And Max was kind of predestined to turn to the magic of direction. After all, as a child he spent more time in the film sets of his father’s films, prestigious Anthony Minghella, than playing football in the street.

Also son of choreographer Carolyne Jane Choa, and with ancestors from Chinese to Hindus, Max says however that he never felt pressured to succeed in the entertainment world.

Although of course he did! Despite graduating in History in Columbia University, his passion for action took him to debut in theaters in 2005 and from there he did not stop.

Teen Spirit

As if that were not enough, Minghella is also the author of the script for his new movie. Described by some as a pop version of Cinderella, young Violet longs for becoming a musical star to escape the weight of her everyday life in Teen Spirit.
