The super successful duo of director Peter Berg and blockbuster actor Mark Wahlberg is back. And you could not expect less that, after working together on three films, they now want to dazzle with Mile 22, a mega-production charged with action, adrenaline and espionage.
And Wahlberg is not the only star of the film, he will be joined by Lauren Cohan, one of the great figures of the series The Walking Dead. Recently the actor revealed that this is "an intelligent action movie for adults" and that he hopes the film will become a trilogy.
What is Mile 22 about?
An elite CIA officer (Wahlberg), helped by an ultra-secret tactical command unit, attempts to smuggle a mysterious Asian police officer with confidential, sensitive information. Forced to mutually collaborate, they must transport something extremely important from the city center to the airport (22 miles), but not before attempting to avoid corrupt officials and criminals willing to kill them.
