Keira Knightley, art in her genes

The life of the megastar starring Colette

With a classic and natural English beauty, famous Keira Knightley has art in her blood.

Daughter of also actor Will Knightley, Keira was born literally thanks to a play. Her mother, playwright Sharman McDonald, said she would have the luxury of having a second child if she managed to sell her first play.

Another family anecdote is the reminiscent of a three-year-old Keira who asked for a representative to her parents because she wanted to succeed in television.

So much clarity at such an early age. Because not only did she work as a child on TV, but she also became a movie star.

She was in the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean and did not get lost in fame, and she consolidated her worldwide recognition with Pride and Prejudice, in 2005.

At age 22, she was already the second highest paid performer in the world, and today she is one of the most coveted figures in the industry.

Next project

Keira is preparing to star in Colette, the biopic of the French bisexual writer directed by Wash Westmoreland. The fascinating real story of this talented artist whom her husband convinced to be a ghost writer, taking all the merits.
