A release is coming that promises to be the best horror film of recent times and director Ari Aster talked with the press to learn more about Hereditary.
"This is a story about people who have no will on their own", because for the director: "The Grahams are like figurines in an evil dollhouse manipulated by external forces," he said.
On the theme of the film, the newcomer director revealed: "It's a film about inheritance, the notion of having no choice about who your family is or what's in your DNA," says Aster. "It's about the horror of being born in a situation over which you have no control. There is nothing more disturbing for me than the idea of feeling absolutely powerless,” he said.
