Timothée Chalamet

Hollywood's highest-grossing actor

Timothée Chalamet was born on 27 December in New York, USA. While attending Fiorello H. La Guardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, he discovered he was passionate about the seventh art and acting. He had great teachers there and began to familiarize himself with playing different characters.

Timothee appeared in several commercials as a young boy and he later debuted in an episode of Law & Order. From 2012, he joined major projects such as Homeland where he played the Vice President's son, Finn Walden. Later, he was part of big-screen stories such as Interstellar, Lady Bird, and Call Me By Your Name, which earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor.

Another film that earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor was Beautiful Boy. This film is a deeply moving portrait of a family's unwavering love and commitment to each other in the face of their son's addiction and attempts at recovery. As Nic repeatedly relapses, the Sheffs are confronted with the harsh reality that addiction is a disease that does not discriminate and can affect any family at any time.

Directed by Belgian Felix Van Groeningen, the film is inspired by real events, i.e. it is an adaptation of the biographical novel by David Sheff, played in the film by Steve Carell (The Way Way Back), about his ordeal with his addicted son.

Nowadays, Timothée Chalamet participates in numerous Hollywood projects and continues to amaze us with his incredible talent in leading roles.
