Find out all about this new horror film

This year, a chilling new film hits the big screen: The Haunting of the Queen Mary. The film follows the mysterious events surrounding a family's journey on Halloween night in 1938. These violent events connect to another family in the present day, photographers Erin, Patrick, and their son Lukas, who are aboard the dangerous ocean liner. The visit takes an unexpected turn when their son disappears and ends up encountering the ghost of a girl who drowned in the ship's pool in 1952.

Directed by Gary Shore, director of Dracula Untold, The Haunting of the Queen Mary is inspired by an urban legend. The film takes us to the Queen Mary, one of the most famous haunted places in America according to the Times magazine. The ship is located in Long Beach, California, and it is a tourist attraction today. There are several stories surrounding the Queen Mary, but the best-known focuses on cabin B-340. Rumor has it that a vengeful spirit resides there, believed to belong to a person who was supposedly murdered there. Several people also claim that children can still be heard playing in the ship's nursery at night.

The film features a great cast including Alice Eve (The Raven), Joel Fry, Nell Hudson, William Shockley, and Angus Wright, and will be in theatres in Latin America in December.
