A new horror film starring Alice Eve and Joel Fry is coming this year. The Haunting of the Queen Mary follows a family who embarks on the majestic ocean liner with no idea that a deep-seated terror will soon be revealed stemming from the horrors that took place in the past.
The title of the film is inspired by a legend as it is believed that the ship hides a curse. In 2008, the RMS Queen Mary was named one of the most famous haunted places in the United States. There are several ghost stories surrounding the Queen Mary, but the most important one relates to cabin B-340. It is believed that a vengeful spirit, that belongs to a person who was supposedly murdered, resides there. Some also say that children can be heard playing in the ship's nursery at night. Today, the ship operates as a tourist attraction in Long Beach, California.
