Ben Affleck in Hypnotic

The actor stars in a new film

Ben Affleck was born on 15 August 1972 in the United States. At a very young age and thanks to his mother's unconditional support, he began his career as a child actor in educational documentaries. Later, he participated in films directed by Kevin Smith. His real breakthrough came when he starred in and wrote the screenplay for Good Will Hunting (1997), a film that was critically acclaimed and won him an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay. Between the 1990s and the turn of the millennium, Ben Affleck was one of the most sought-after performers and he played different characters in films such as Shakespeare in Love and Pearl Harbor.

Nowadays, he is involved in new projects, not only in front of the camera but also participating in other artistic paths such as directing and producing. One of his latest films is Hypnotic, which is directed by Robert Rodriguez and tells the story of detective Danny Rourke, who is looking for his missing daughter. While trying to find her whereabouts, Danny must solve a series of bank robberies that may be connected to a classified government program.
