Destiny is a young stripper at a Manhattan nightclub that struggles to make ends meet and maintain her grandmother.
Embodied by Constance Wu, Destiny’s life changes when she meets Ramona, a veteran colleague played by flawless Jennifer López.

Wu said one the things she liked the most about Destiny was her loneliness. “I wanted to play a character that felt profoundly lonely due to our culture and lack of opportunities,” she explained.
Down to luck and with no help whatsoever, Destiny finds the support she longed for.
Ramona not only teaches Destiny to dance but when things get worse after the 2008 crisis, the new friends join to swindle their own clients, powerful men largely responsible for the global catastrophe lived by then.
They started to drug and rob their clients and they were soon joined by two more strippers: unstoppable Mercedes (Keke Palmer) and young, innocent Annabelle (Lili Reinhart).
A worth- watching story about a group of different women looking to overcome their problems. A must- see film!
