The remake of “Efter brylluppet”, the original name of the Danish film incredibly well- received by the critics and nominated for the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film, will soon be released in theaters.
Directed by Bart Freundlich, this new version will have a top cast: Michelle Williams, Julianne Moore and Billy Crudup, who will lead a story with incredible plot twists.
Isabel (Williams) has dedicated almost all her life to the children of an orphanage in Calcutta, India. With countless financial problems, everything seems to change when they get the news of a generous gift for the troubled institution.
But to get that amount of money, Isabel will have to travel to New York. There she will meet Theresa (Moore), the multimillionaire manager of a media outlet company that lives with her artist husband Oscar (Crudup) and their children.
Isabel will soon realize the three of them have a common past.
