Diamond's upcoming film, Civil War, takes place in the near future and follows the story of a group of journalists who travel to the United States during an escalating civil war that spreads across the nation.
The film is directed by Alex Garland, who has previously directed other incredible, critically acclaimed stories such as Ex Machina and Annihilation. Here, the filmmaker delivers an explosive and intriguing action-packed film in which journalists are killed on the violent American streets of a dystopian nation.
The cast includes Kirsten Dunst, Wagner Moura, Cailee Spaeny, and Stephen McKinley Henderson. Civil War will hit theatres in Latin America in mid-2024.
