The film centers around a person who works mercilessly during the most extreme circumstances of a national emergency. It begins with Adam Clay, a retired Beekeeper, who is tending bees in the field when he learns the shocking news that his neighbor had been swindled, and as a result, she had taken her own life. From that event, Adam discovers a high-level government conspiracy and unlocks all the defense mechanisms to take revenge and accomplish his mission.
What is the origin of this great story? Screenwriter Kurt Wimmer dislikes people who take advantage of older individuals, especially those who are widowed or alone without anyone to defend them. Inspired by this situation, he imagined a possible solution or revenge that could be taken against these offenders. The story runs through Wimmer as his elderly widowed aunt in Germany went through a similar experience when some people gained her trust, moved in with her to serve as her housekeeper, and accessed her bank accounts.
