21 Bridges: Chadwick Boseman’s new film

The actor leaves the superhero costume behind to become a policeman in search of the truth

Chadwick Boseman is not only an actor, he is also a scriptwriter and dramatist. But it must be admitted that, for now, his role as an actor gave him more recognition, especially after playing Black Panther (2018), the character of the Marvel universe.

But besides that, Boseman- 42 years old- has a solid career with films like 42 (2013) where he plays Jackie Robinson, the first colored player to reach the baseball major leagues. And he also embodied the musician James Brown in Get on Up (2014).

He certainly develops perfectly characters based on real events but he always dares more, as will be seen in his next production: 21 Bridges.

A chase that keeps New York in threshold

After a group of young men murders eight policemen in New York, a detective (Boseman) is determined to find the criminals immediately. The persecution develops throughout the city after discovering a massive and unexpected conspiracy.

When the search intensifies, extreme measures are taken to prevent the killers from escaping Manhattan: to close all 21 Bridges that communicate with the outside, rivers and transportation networks.
