Juliet, naked: with the seal of great novelist Nick Hornby

The adaptation to theaters of the novel Juliet, naked

How many hundreds of people have felt in love, sad, confused and again in love with the stories of the great novelist Nick Horby?

It is known that this cult author’s signature is a guarantee in any project. And precisely his pen is behind Juliet, naked, the film that takes his seventh novel to theaters.

"An adaptation of a work by Nick Hornby has almost become a cinematic genre in itself, and much loved", underlines the director of Juliet, naked, Jesse Peretz.

The plot

Annie (Rose Byrne) is close to turning 40. Routinely immersed in a long relationship with Duncan (Chris O'Dowd), she realizes youth ends without passion or emotion. Change comes when Annie meets and falls in love with her partner’s (Ethan Hawke) idol, a musician who disappeared after an incredible first album, Juliet. Juliet, naked certainly carries the authentic and irresistible Hornby’s stamps: a beautiful fabric of humor, warmth and reflection on the meaning of life.
