Kirsten Dunst was born on April 30, 1982 in New Jersey. The daughter of a medical services executive and an artist, she started in the acting world from a very young age. As a result, she faced challenges in dealing with her growing fame and, for a while, she blamed her mother for encouraging her to participate in films when she was just a child. However, she later acknowledged that she always had the best intentions.
She began her career when she was three years old as a model in television commercials. After several appearances in different films, she achieved international recognition with Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles, and it was thanks to that film that she made one success after another, among them, Little Women, Jumanji, and The Virgin Suicides.
One of her latest projects is Civil War, a film set in a not-so-distant future where a civil war is about to break out in the United States. In this complex context, a group of journalists decides to travel to Washington to document the upcoming events. However, their lives will be in danger as soon as they get deeper into the American conflict.
