Beautiful Wedding revolves around Travis and Abby, who discover they are married after a wild night in Las Vegas and decide to celebrate their honeymoon in Mexico with their loved ones. In the first installment of the film, Abby is a young woman trying to distance herself from her complicated past while resisting her attraction to Travis, a womanizing, rebellious, and charming college roommate.
The sequel focuses on the protagonists, who must discover if they belong together or if this sudden marriage is just another disaster in their list of unfortunate events.
The film features a great cast, including Dylan Sprouse (After We Collided), Virginia Gardner (Beautiful Disaster), Rob Estes, and Libe Eber. Beautiful Wedding is the film adaptation of Jamie McGuire's third book, released in 2013. This time, he had the opportunity to participate in the pre-production of the film in the role of screenwriter.
