Large cities often cause a sense of emptiness in their citizens before so many indifferent people who do not bond with each other. So, if we add the loss of a loved one, the combination of both elements can make any person the ideal victim for a stalker.
And this is exactly what happens in Greta, where the relationship between an innocent, lost and insecure Frances (Chloë Grace Moretz) is the perfect target for an unscrupulous person like Greta (embodied by the great French actress Isabelle Huppert).
Directed by recognized Neil Jordan, the plot tells the story from the moment the protagonist finds a lost bag with the information and telephone number of its owner. When the bag is returned, a lovely- for the moment- widow invites Frances to have tea.
Their bond will grow as well as their confidence. But when Frances does not want to keep in touch with the woman, problems begin.
