The Strangers: Prey at night is the second installment of The Strangers (2008), but without argumentative link with the first story. What do come back are their three mysterious protagonists: Dollface, Pin-up Girl and the Man in the mask.
Respect the classics of terror
When making the film, director Johannes Roberts used the elements of classic horror films of the 70s and 80s. "From a cinematography point of view, I wanted this film to fit into the world of The Strangers, but I wanted a more retro and darker feeling for this," explains the filmmaker.
The Strangers: Prey at night also has a script by Bryan Bertino (who was the director of its first version), and a cast composed of Christina Hendricks, Martin Henderson and Bailee Madison.
