Who is David Duchovny?

Let's take a look at his career!

David Duchovny was born on 7 August 1960 in New York, USA. His mother was a teacher and a school administrator and his father was a writer and publicist. David studied English Literature at Yale University and was preparing for his PhD when he dropped out to devote himself entirely to acting.

What were his beginnings like? David began with small parts in commercials and supporting roles in B-movies. However, he became known in the film industry due to several films such as Kalifornia, alongside Brad Pitt and Juliette Lewis, and Beethoven. The real breakthrough came in 1993 when he played the lead role in the X-Files series.

After that cult series, he continued in various film projects. One of his latest releases is The Estate, which follows two sisters, Macey and Savanna. The two have the perfect plan: to win the heart of their terminally ill and hard-to-please Aunt Hilda in the hope of becoming the beneficiaries of her vast estate. But they soon discover that other greedy family members have the same idea, including their cousin and main rival, Richard, played by David Duchovny.
