Hustlers: a lot of connection on the set

One of the film's producers and one of its protagonists talk about Hustlers

Jessica Elbaum is one of the producers that boosts female actress in comedy.

That is why she did not hesitate to join the production of Hustlers, a comedy starring Jennifer Lopez that tells the true story of a group of dancers who robbed their wealthy clients.

With a long history in large Hollywood projects, Elbaum said: "the experiences of these women deserved to be told. A story that highlights what happens when ambition becomes too big."

Elbaum, like the rest of the producers and the cast, are unanimous in their praise for the director of the film, Lorene Scafaria; and this was shown by Constance Wu, one of the protagonists of the film.

“Lorene was the right filmmaker for Hustlers for many reasons. She treated each character as a true human, not as an archetype or cartoon,” said the Asian-American actress.

A unique group of women

With a cast completed with Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart and Julia Stiles, the film is one of the most anticipated releases.

Hustlers portrays the criminal organization created by a group of erotic dancers who became rich robbing their customers in real life.
