The film is inspired by real events as it chronicles the lives of Blackberry's founders, Mike Lazaridis and Douglas Fregin, and the various events that led to the downfall of their product. Although the smartphone line was discontinued, Blackberry Limited remains to this day a technology company focused on cybersecurity.
Blackberry features a great cast including Jay Baruchel, Glenn Howerton, Matt Johnson, and Martin Donovan. Directed by Matt Johnson, the film will hit theatres across Latin America this year.
